Why is the event being rescheduled?

The hotels actually cancelled us! Houma is a South Louisiana oilfield community. Offshore oil rig workers typically work a 2 week in town / 2 week on the offshore rig schedule. The oil companies leased ALL of the hotels in Houma (right out from under us) to house the workers. When a worker comes into town for his 2 weeks off they are required to by 'quarantined' in a hotel for the 2 weeks so that they do not bring COVID-19 back to the rig and place the other workers at risk. The hotels are under contract through the end of December, possibly longer.

What about my Registration Fee?

Rescheduling of the event is due to COVID-19 and is out of our control. Paid Registration fees will be automatically rolled over to the 2021 event.

If I have already registered, will I have to register again for the event?

No. If you have already registered for the event, your registration will automatically roll over to the 2021 event and you do not need to re-register.

When will the 2021 event be held?

We are working with the hotels and hope to hold the event in April 2021. Dates to follow. Remember with the COVID-19 situation it's difficult to determine exact dates at this time.

What do I do about my hotel reservation?

Since the hotels are cancelling they should be contacting you. However; it is up to you to cancel your own hotel reservations to ensure that your credit card isn't charged for your room.

What's the good news?

Hoping for Spyders on the Bayou in April - it's CRAWFISH SEASON!!!!
